The Bridge from a Brooklyn POV

I seem to be obsessed with the Brooklyn Bridge! After the photowalks with Joe Dimaggio I’ve had the opportunity to photograph it from the Manhattan side, from the bridge itself, and yesterday, completed the trifecta from the Brooklyn side. I know I’ve said it before but the damn thing is really impressive. All the more, when you consider there were no computers, no Caterpillar equipment or sophisticated lasers & electronics for measuring loads and distance.

Mind boggling.

Over 100 years old and still going strong (opened in 1883!).
