Bermuda Day 3: What’s For Lunch?

Yesterday spent the morning at the Dockyard on the West End of the Island. Did some site seeing around the old bunkers and the restored Comissioner’s House, which is simply an amazing place. They’ve done a great job of documenting the fascinating history the Island has played in the Wars over the years. 

Grabbed lunch at the Bone Fish Grill (yummy Italian Caprese salad and shrimp) and then headed back to Pompano for lunch and a bit of R&R. Had dinner last night at Cambridge beaches- took some great shots of Mango Bay, and the sun setting from a little hidden cove. Will work through those images over the next few weeks.

One of the nice things about pompano is the Ocean Grill dining room. I was walking through it yesterday afternoon prior to dinner (with gear in tow) and as I did I thought it would make a great HDR image. So, set up the tripod, and took a 5 bracketed shot which resulted in…

Pompano Dining RoomThis is pretty much what it looks like when you are standing there. The floor to ceiling glass gives an expansive view of the multi-colored water and sky. Amazing right? Enjoy!
