Tree Rock & Moss

Nature provides some spectacular photo opps… but sometimes hides them. While I love the sweeping, majestic landscapes, I find myself looking more and more into detail shots to capture an interesting image, like this one. Set beneath a covered bridge in Vermont, this tree had grown around and across the rocks that had blocked its way.. better yet, a rock wall had been built behind it as part of the support for the bridge itself. Interesting lines converge throughout… I liked it in color, but love it in Black & White- a very quick conversion using NIK’s Silver Efex Pro provided some additional drama and depth.

Enjoy!
