Every year we send out a Christmas card with Tristan & Aidan featured in front of our Christmas tree… It’s always a challenge getting them focused for 20 minutes, but compared to prior years this years shoot was a breeze. Last year I posted a bunch of out-takes on Facebook, luckily, this year, no such photos of crying, boredom and outright defiance can be found 🙂
Simple and straight forward set-up- D3 with 24-70, Lastolite Ezybox off camera left. Shot TTL with an SU-800 to trigger the remote flash. Took some verticals (which ended up being the front of the card) and some  landscape shots- this is my favorite- I absolutely love the look on Aidan’s face… He’s angelic, sweet, and full of hugs & kisses and his personality just shines through in this image- as does Tristan’s…
