Simple Street Flowers

One of Manhattan’s hidden little treasures is its many sidewalk flower vendors. They dapple each corner with brilliant little bursts of color. Always makes me smile when you walk by and see fresh Gerbers, Iris’ or a bunch of wild flowers in their metal pails full of water.

I was experimenting with my photog friend Ron’s 24 PCE lens. Playing with the tilt and shift features to extend the depth of field the lens would capture.  This lens is wicked sharp, and a lot of fun to experiment with- you never know what’ll come up with. Highly recommend if you can get your paws on one (one my wish list!), try it… you’ll like it 🙂 Seriously, with this lens you could walk the streets of NYC all day and play and play and play.

Enjoy! and Happy Friday!
