In Front of the Lens…

So unusual to be the “model” in front of someone else’s lens… and I usually politely decline, but in this case the photographer is RC Concepcion (yes, that RC!, one of the Photoshop Guys from Kelby Media).  RC joined us at DLWS Yosemite as an instructor and he was an all around terrific instructor, photographer and person. Turns out we grew up pretty close to one another and attended SUNY Plattsburgh as our College of choice (always interesting as most folks have no idea where Plattsburgh is!).

This shot was taken down by the Merced river in front of El Capitan in Yosemite Valley. One SB-900 as the commander, another SB-900 shot through the Lastolite Ezybox (one of my favorite setups… you’ll recognize the lighting from my annual Christmas Cards!). RC was doing rapid fire photos of some of us photographers and this is one he shot of me.  Again, never comfortable in front of the camera, but I like this one…
